Patrick Möller opened Boxbike in Prenzlauer Berg in 2009 with a single rule that has never changed: folding bikes only, nothing else. No mountain bikes, no city bikes, no compromise. That stubbornness turned out to be genius. Today Boxbike is one of Berlin's most respected Brompton Excellence Dealers, featured on RBB television, Radio 1 Berlin, and in the Berliner Zeitung. Patrick once gathered a spontaneous cluster of folding bike riders during Critical Mass and served hot wine on the street — because he genuinely believes the folding bike community in Berlin deserves its own space and culture. Workshop repairs are done same-day or next-day. This is also where Berlin's most famous Brompton blogger, Radelmädchen, bought her first Brompton in 2017 and named it Ljómi.
