The newest and prettiest corner of the network. Out east, where the water opens up and the DLR stitches the old docks together, the bikes are cheaper — around £3.50 a day — and the riding is gentle and scenic. A well-signed loop runs the length of Royal Victoria Dock, and because you can drop the bike at any dock, you can ride one way along the waterfront and DLR it home. If the central docks are about getting somewhere, this one's about the ride itself.
