ABOUT THE RACE: The BWC is the worlds most iconic folding bike race - a Le Mans-style start where 650+ riders sprint to their folded Bromptons, unfold, and race five laps of an urban track. Nine heats. Two world champions. No lycra allowed - a suit jacket, collared shirt and tie is required. Fancy dress is strongly encouraged.
GETTING THERE BY BROMPTON: Coal Drops Yard is a 2-minute ride from Kings Cross St Pancras - one of Londons most Brompton-friendly stations. Served by 6 Underground lines, Eurostar, and National Rail.
TIPS FROM RIDERS: Arrive early for a good spot near the start line - the Le Mans sprint is the highlight. Folding competition and T Line hold challenge are crowd favourites. After the race, Coal Drops Yard has excellent food and drink options.
