Opened in 2017, the Rapha Clubhouse Berlin on Alte Schönhauser Strasse was Germany's first Rapha Clubhouse and remains one of the most welcoming cycling spaces in the city. The emblem of the Berlin chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club is the Teufelsberg — the Cold War-era listening station perched on a 120-metre hill of wartime rubble on the western edge of the city — which perfectly captures Berlin's layered, strange, and compelling character. The Clubhouse serves coffee and food, screens live race coverage throughout the cycling calendar, hosts workshops, and runs group rides open to all, not just RCC members. Brompton riders are very welcome — the spirit here is about cycling broadly, not brand loyalty. A genuine cyclist's living room in the middle of Mitte.
